Daca antivirusul instalat pe sistem poate fi pacalit de rootkit, Sophos a luat initiativa si nu a mai asteptat ca Microsoft sa lanseze un patch(cred ca luna viitoare in Patch Tuesday) si a lansat Sophos Windows Shortcut Exploit Protection Tool.
Hackerii profita ce avantajul acestui exploit si imprastie malware.
Sophos protejeaza clientii sai impotriva acestei probleme. Dar ce se intampla daca nu esti client Sophos ? Chiar nimic. Sophos Windows Shortcut Exploit Protection Tool este GRATUIT si poate sa lucreze langa orice antivirus fara sa fie vreo problema de compatibilitate.
Microsoft a lansat un patch temporar, dar este o problema cu el: toate iconitele de la fisierele din PC devin ALBE !!! Halal patch. Sa zicem ca unii care nu dau 2 bani pe frumusetea unui desktop(in categoria asta intru si eu) nu sunt afectati. Dar vorbim aici de un procent foarte mic de utilizatori.
