F-Secure Corporation realizeaza solutii de securitate pentru utilizatori de acasa, birouri, servere, retele si dispozitive mobile (PDA, Smatphone,…). Toate produsele antivirus ofera protectie impotriva virusilor si amenintarilor vechi, cunoscute.     Nope. Is just for F-Secure Internet Security 2010. You can install the suite and set the firewall off, but only if you have a firewall already installed. :)

    One more question : If i install the whole suite and disable the firewall, and if i have another firewall, wouldn’t be possible confilct between drivers of the two firewalls?
    I’m not tech savy, but on some of the security forums about another products, the people were commenting that installation of the whole suite installs drivers for both the antivirus and the firewall of that suite.
    And even the firewall is disabled of the suite, and another Firewall is installed, there is possibility of conflict between drivers of two firewalls?
    Can you tell me something more about this?
    Have you or anyone else tried installing any suite (not necessarily F-Secure) and disabling the firewall and installing another Firewall?
    And most important will this work and will be there some problems?

    I’m using now BitDefenfender Total Security 2010 with the firewall off and Comodo Firewall as standalone firewall.

    It’s true, firewalls use drivers, but if you set the firewall off, those thivers aren’t use in the moment.
    So the firewall that you have as standalone pruduct cand work just fine.

    If you ask me why am i’m using BitDefenfender Total Security 2010 with the firewall off and not BitDefenfenderAntivirus 2010,,,it;s simple: my licence wors only with total security version of BitDefender and i think that Comodo Firewall is muc better than the one from the suite.

    So, you have never had problems with this combinations of Av from the suite and another stand alone firewall?
    That sounds great.
    Are you using this kind of combination for a long time, and have you tried with different products(different suite and different Firewall) or just with BitDefender?
    Do you know anyone else that have used this kind of combinations and how are they performing?

    Have ever contacted BitDefender and ask them if would be some possible conflict or less security with this conjunction (i’m just curious about this).

    One more question :)

    Do you install the suite first and then disable the firewall or you first install the Stand alone(other firewall) and then the suite?

    Dera John, in the past i used Avira Premium Security Suite(from anothe promotion) with the firewall off and Outpost Firewall as standalone.
    I also tried Online Armor Premium with Avira. No conflicts.

    If you want to change your security suite, first of all, download the kit of the program on your HDD,
    un-plug your network cable/USB modem/wireless/etc, uninstall the old products, restart, install the security suite, set the firewall to off, install the standalone firewall, plug-in your internet cable & run update :)

    Cu F-Secure poti combina Outpost, Online Armor sau Comodo. :)

    Cat despre GData, mie imi rupe PC-ul.

    E bun, dar prea exagereat. Pe un Quad Core imi tine procesorul aiurea in 60%…asta desi in managerul lui afiseaza doar 5%.
